On January 13, 2009, McPherson Oil purchased the assets of T-Gill Fuels located in Pensacola, Florida. T-Gill has been a delivery partner of TMC for the past 2.5 years. Their primary business has been the delivery of commercial and c-store fuel and gasoline in the Northwest Florida markets. For many years, TMC has struggled to effectively compete in the fuel business in this marketplace. Now with our acquisition of T-Gill, we have a much better opportunity to grow our market share in this important area of the country. We now have our own distribution assets in this area as well as a much improved understanding of this market.
T-Gill business was purchased from Greg Threadgill. Greg has been the owner of T-Gill for the past 20 years and will be continuing his employment with TMC as the General Manager of T-Gill division. Greg is very knowledgeable of the Pensacola and surrounding markets, which will be a great value to help expand the McPherson customer base.
