Credit A/R Representative

General Summary:
The Credit / Accounts Receivable Representative perform various account management responsibilities involving payments for existing convenient store and commercial accounts.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Accounts receivable and management of customer accounts
• Process credit card payments received daily
• Monitor payments received to customer accounts on a daily basis
• Apply payments to customer accounts on a daily basis
• Manage daily bank drafts for payments not received
• Reconciliation and offsetting of credit card payments
• Communicate with convenient store account customers in regards to payments
• Assist account customers and bank with questions and problems
• Perform collection calls

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Three to five years previous credit and A/R experience
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills
• Proven multi-tasking skills
