This week, ExxonMobil released several product announcements. Here’s a rundown:

1. ExxonMobil is announcing the retirement of Mobil Delvac 1 5W-40 in all package sizes. This retirement is effective immediately, pending inventory run out. Follow the typical tank transition protocol by running the current tank volume down to 10% to reduce commingle. Contact us today to determine the best replacement product.

2. The American Petroleum Institute (API) officially announced a May 1, 2020 GF-6 first licensure date for the passenger vehicle SP specification.

We are pleased to inform you that ExxonMobil has a variety of full synthetic products that currently meet the GF-6 SP specification.

3. We are delighted to inform you that Mobil DTE 20 Ultra series will be live in the United States beginning April 1, 2020 as the newly designed monograde hydraulic fluids to replace Mobil DTE 20 Series lubricants. Mobil DTE 20 Ultra series oils are high-performance anti-wear hydraulic oils with extended oil life capabilities and have demonstrated up to two-times longer oil drain intervals versus similar competitive oils.  Mobil DTE 20 Ultra meets today’s more severe OEM & industry standards including BoschRexroth Fluid Rating List 90245, EATON E-FDGN-TB002-E, and Denison HF-0, 1, 2.
