Reservoir Cleaning
Reservoir Cleaning
Protect Your New Oil Charge From Day One
Lube oil reservoirs are designed to function not only as a holding tank for lubricants during equipment operation, but they’re also very effective at accumulating sludge, debris, water, and other contaminants over time. Since oxidation and varnish are autocatalytic, it’s imperative that an oil reservoir be thoroughly cleaned prior to charging with new oil.
Due to the fishbowl effect, failure to properly clean a lube oil reservoir prior to a new charge of oil could result in an exponential increase in ISO 4406 particle counts and significant risk to your system’s critical components.
